Rescueber is a Chicago based not-for-profit organization that transports animals for more than 28 midwest based animal rescues. They support transportation needs in several ways:
- rides for animals from intake facilities within the midwest as well as out-of-state, to the midwest based rescues or fosters so they can start their journey to finding their forever homes
- trips to the vet and/ or enrichment activities for foster animals
- bringing donations and supplies to the rescues
All these rides need gas, crates, leashes, harnesses, blankets as well as enrichments including treats and toys, especially during long distance drives. Also many of these items follow the dogs and cats into their foster homes or rescue. Rescueber is creating such a positive impact within the animal welfare community and we are proud to support their mission and life saving work.

Players For Pits is an Illinois based dog rescue taking in pit bull type dogs who need rescue to save their lives. Their mission is to help dogs in open access animal controls in the greater Chicago area as well as nationally. They strive to give these deserving dogs a second chance to be a part of the community by matching them with families that will advocate and love them forever. I first learned about Players For Pits when I lived in Chicago and volunteered with local animal rescues. I love their mission and they often take on tough medical cases in order to give these deserving dogs a chance at the beautiful life they deserve.

ALIVE Rescue is a Chicago based animal rescue that protects the lives and welfare of animals. They save, rehabilitate and place abandoned, abused and stray animals into loving homes. Volunteering with ALIVE is where my love for rescue grew deeper. I loved visiting The Little Barn to walk dogs, play with cats and be a part of their Events Team to create fundraisers. We fostered a couple of cats and adopted our boy Tate from ALIVE. I have so much respect for Kristen and the ALIVE team because they dedicate so much time, care and love to each animal that joins their family. They never hesitate to take on the tough medical cases, seniors and feral dogs too. ALIVE Rescue has an adoption center in the West Loop and is also working to construct The Big Barn - a new shelter location in Wisconsin that will allow them to double the number of lives saved. I am happy that I can continue to support the ALIVE family from our new home in Utah.
